Jurassic World is set 22 years after the events of the original Jurassic Park, on the same island of Isla Nublar. The park, now fully operational, has become a popular tourist destination, attracting thousands of visitors who come to experience dinosaurs brought back to life through genetic engineering. The park’s operations are overseen by Claire Dearing, who is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the park and keeping the guests entertained. However, the park’s corporate owners are constantly pushing for bigger and more exciting attractions to boost profits.
To meet the increasing demands for thrills, the park’s geneticists create a new hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus rex, a genetically modified creature designed to be larger, smarter, and more dangerous than any dinosaur that came before. However, the Indominus quickly proves to be far more than the park can handle. It escapes from its enclosure, and with its heightened intelligence and ferocity, it begins to wreak havoc across the island. The park’s security measures fail, and both visitors and staff are thrown into a desperate fight for survival.
Owen Grady, a former Navy veteran and Velociraptor trainer, is called in to help track down and stop the Indominus rex before it causes even more destruction. As chaos ensues, Owen and Claire must work together, relying on Owen’s understanding of the park’s Velociraptors and Claire’s knowledge of the park’s systems. The race against time to contain the Indominus becomes a battle to save not only the people on the island but also the future of the park itself.
