Fantastic Beasts – In 1926, Newt Scamander, a British magizoologist, arrives in New York carrying a seemingly ordinary briefcase. Unbeknownst to the public, the briefcase is enchanted and contains various magical creatures, many of which are considered dangerous by wizarding authorities. Newt’s arrival in the city coincides with rising tensions between the magical and non-magical (No-Maj) communities in the United States, as dark forces are at play, threatening to expose the wizarding world.
Things quickly spiral out of control when several of Newt’s creatures accidentally escape from his briefcase, causing havoc in the city. From a mischievous Niffler attracted to shiny objects to far more dangerous beasts, their presence sparks fear among No-Majs and concern from the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA). The wizarding authorities, led by Percival Graves, begin to hunt Newt, fearing that the exposure of these creatures could further damage already fragile relations between the magical and non-magical worlds.
As Newt races to recover his escaped creatures, he finds unexpected allies in Tina Goldstein, a former MACUSA investigator, and her sister, Queenie. Together, they must not only capture the creatures but also uncover a deeper conspiracy threatening both worlds. In the process, Newt’s compassion for magical creatures and his mission to protect them shine through, even as he navigates the dangers and complexities of a society on the brink of chaos.
